Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas!

Mary Did You Know written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene

Mary, did you know

that your baby boy will one day walk on water?

Mary, did you know

that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?

Did you know,

that your baby boy has come to make you new?

This child that you’ve delivered,

will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know

that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?

Mary, did you know

your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?

Did you know,

that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?

When you kiss your little baby,

you’ve kissed the face of God.

The blind will see

The deaf will hear

The dead will live again.

The lame will leap

The dumb will speak

The praises of The Lamb.

Mary, did you know

that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?

Mary, did you know

that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?

Did you know,

that your baby boy is heaven’s perfect lamb?

This sleeping child you’re holding, is the great I AM.

Every time I hear that song, I imagine Mary holding baby Jesus in her arms, stroking his head, kissing his cheeks, holding him close, and treasuring it all in her heart. Such a simple picture but one that really touches me. A tiny baby, born in a humble stable, and an event that changed the world. I need nothing more than to slow down and treasure these things in my heart.

 Merry Christmas!!

Hugs,
Mary

Strawberry Jam layout

This is a layout I created for Kitchen Keepsakes. The picture is from back in the day when I used to can and make Jams & Jelly. Used too...lol  The berries were grown in my garden. I freehand drew the strawberries & used my Paper piercing tool to punch the holes.

Ingredients for my layout:
Shabby Green Door Paper
Martha Stewart Lace punch
Eyelets from my stash
Martha Stewart Bakers Twine
Bazzill cardstock

The Kit includes the following and can be purchased from Kitchen Keepsakes for $21.00 and includes shipping in the U.S. ....only. Last time I checked there were only a few left.

1 set chipboard alphas
1 sheet cardstock stickers
Recipe tabs acrylic stamps
3 ft. black paper ribbon
1 ft. red bakers twine

Christmas Tags

Just a quick post today to share with you a new gift tag I made this afternoon. I used Bazzill cardstock & My Cricut Expression to make these. The carts I used were Accent Essentials & Joys of the Season.

Check out this adorable Christmas Tree made from palm fronds..Isn't it just the cutest. LOL It was in front of the entrance to the Nature Preserve...where JC and I go to walk.

Thanksgiving Traditions...

This layout I did for a challenge over at  The Cookbooking site. I used a Hybrid kit from The ShabbyShoppe called "Harvest Spice". I really love how this turned out. This was the first time I used a digital Hybrid kit.

Fifty cents of Happiness....

Recipe Ingredients:
Recollections paper
Bazzill Cardstock
Making Memories paints -Asphalt & Chalk
Buttons from my stash
Offray Ribbon

My inspiration for this layout came form the dalmation. I love the black & white with the pop of green. I peeled the paper from the chipboard letters and painted them white & added black dots. I also added the white around the background.
Thanks for looking!
