Couple New Layouts

These pictures are from our day trip to Savannah, Georgia. The old buildings have such architectual detail to them. I'm not thrilled with the way the layout turned out...but it's ok. I had it pictured in my mind completely different just couldn't get it to work. LOL

Bazzill cardstock
Ranger Distress Ink
Colorbok Paper

This picture is another one from Winter on Mackinac Island. It is so amazing there in the winter...there were only about 500 people that lived on the Island in the winter so you felt pretty much like it was your own private Island. Most of the people that stayed during the winter lived in the middle of the Island and we lived downtown on the water so it was pretty quiet. We loved taking our daily walks in the winter and this was one of our favorite places to go.

A Blast from the Past....

All of these Layouts, cards and altered items are things I created back in 2005 when I first started scrapping. I found them posted in a gallery of a site I used to belong too. It was kinda weird seeing them. I'm like wow..these are mine hahhaha. My son has all the old albums I created...I think there are about 7 or 8 of them. He loves loking at them and showing his friends. Anyways thats my blast from the past. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Scraproom..

Before....

After...

Close up...

Looking out my window..
Hi everyone...so sorry I haven't been around much the past few days. JC and I have been working on my scraproom. Here are the before and after pictures of my room. I still have some organizing to do and a lil painting, but it's pretty much done. I love the streamlined look & all the new area to lay out my work. Let me know what you think. Do you have a scraproom? I would love to see pics of your areas as well.

A Couple New Cards..

Here are a couple new cards I made today. The one is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month..in real life it is light pink, gold, white pearls & lace..couldn't get the colors to show true. I colored in the background with my Prisma Watercolors, added Ranger Pearl Essents to the fill in the embossed areas then outlined it in gold leaf. The embossed area is from a Stampin Up folder.
The second card I made using my Anna Griffin Stamp with Prisma Watercolors. All materials used on both cards are from my stash. The cardstock is Stampin Up.

Butterfly wishes

Butterfly Wishes Card - SCS300 Challenge.
This was my first time playing along with any challenges at Split Coast Stampers. I stamped the butterfly image with versamark and embossed it with Midnight Black embossing powder. I then colored it in with my Prisma watercolor pencils added stickles & applied decoupage sealer to give it some durability & shine. I need to retake the picture tomorrow..not happy with the photo shot.
